It is at our beautiful, newly painted and warm studio in Newry.
Orla trained in Performing Arts in Dublin and England, specialising in Contemporary Dance.
Discovering a misalignment of the spine she gave up her dance career and, advised to try yoga for her back, her journey and love for the practice began. Yoga helped with correcting alignment but also provided better mind, body and breath awareness, giving her an ability to cope with the stresses of modern day living.
Orla says that she passionate about the benefits of yoga and this motivated her to train as a yoga instructor and to pass on her knowledge and understanding to others..
Yoga for Beginners
For all ages and abilities, focusing on body awareness, improvement of posture, correct alignment, strengthening and improving flexibility.
In these classes you will learn how to adapt asanas (postures) to gradually develop strength and stamina, supported by the breathe awareness practices (pranayamas) of yoga.
These practices will help build confidence, physically and mentally.

The Yoga Studio is now able to offer private homeopathic consultations and one to one yoga sessions by appointment.
Both yoga and homeopathy work by activating the vital force, (chi or prana) also known as 'subtle energy'. Because of this they are able to create a powerful link between body, mind and spirit, which purely physical exercise cannot do.
We are no longer offering pilates classes, but we are extending the number of yoga classes to include more restorative and remedial classes as well as new beginners and general classes.
